Posted 12/13/2002I'm up to 80 hours on my BX22 and it still has to be one of the best tools I've ever purchased. The quaility of the components is outstanding and I have had no issues with any warranty items whatsoever. It's a very versatile machine that can do far more than your average Garden Tractor. The Backhoe and Front End Loader are easy to remove and re-attach. The MidMountMower (60") is probably the only thing I'm not crazy about. It's very difficult to both adjust correctly and install/detach - plus the guide wheels are prone to 'melting' if not set up perfectly.
Once you own one of these, you'll wonder why you didn't buy it sooner. Some users will trade up eventually for larger tractors, as the BX does have some power and attachment limitations (but not too many), but if you buy the unit as an "Estate Tractor" rather than a working farm tractor, you won't be dissapointed. Sips fuel gingerly and works great for plowing driveways, too !
Date Purchased: 5/2002
Purchased: New
Price Paid: US$15500
Pros: Best bang for the buck for a do-all machine in a small 'real' tractor
Cons: Not many. MMM Deck is hard to adjust and remove
