Posted 12/15/2002There is a long list of standard features with the DK models, 4-wheel drive, foldable ROPS, seatbelt, power steering, tilt steering, differential lock, mid and rear PTO, wet disc brakes, hand and foot throttle, adjustable drawbar, adjustable seat, rear work light, and adjustable lower link arms on the 3 point which makes hooking up attachments much easier.
The instrument panel has all the necessary gauges: temperature, fuel, tachometer and hour meter, and warning lights for PTO, oil pressure, low fuel, low coolant, and glow plugs.
The Daedong 3 cylinder 35 hp diesel engine starts well even in cold weather and runs smooth and strong.
The transmission is extremely smooth shifting and fully syncronized with 8 forward/8 reverse speeds. With a syncronized forward/reverser located on the left side of the steering column.
The rear PTO is rated at 28.3 hp and is turned on and off by a switch on the dash panel. My DK35 has been used for box blading and back blading, rototilling, front loader work, finish mowing, brush and field mowing for around 100 hours now and the only problem I have had was a leak on the bucket tilt cylinder, which was repaired under warranty with no down time.
The Kioti KL1450 loader has 1350 lbs. of lift and was ordered with a Bobcat style quick attach and 60" bucket.
The fit, finish, comfort, quality, and control locations are very well thought out.
The tractor is extremely well built, and just plain works!
I would recommed this model to anyone wanting a well built, rugged, strong, comfortable machine for their money.
Date Purchased: 3/2002
Purchased: New
Price Paid: US$16990
Pros: value, quality, fit and finish, comfort, price
Cons: First gear is on the fast side for rototilling (I would recommend the creeper gear option for rototilling). Also the foot throttle location gets tiri
