Kubota Reviews / 1998 Kubota B2400 Tractor
Review by gomez from Pineville, Pennsylvania
Posted 01/17/2003

Bought this used in 1999 to replace a small gas garden tractor (Wheel Horse C-101)
The old tractor was just too small for cutting 3 acres in a reasonable amount of
time. The ablilty to cut through high, wet grass without slowing down continues
to make me smile. Still haven't come up with the $$for the FEL, but that should be
soon. Maintenance is simple. MMM does a beautiful job. Just have to keep the
gage wheels lubed. power steering, hydrostatic, and position control are all new
to me but I would not want to go without them. PTO levers are too close to the seat.
More than once, the levers have gotten a little to "friendly" with me. Only thing out of normal
maintenance is I had to replace the light switch due to the circuit board warping.
The headlights are pretty dim.

I noticed the B2410 has addressed the PTO lever problem.

Date Purchased: 7/1999
Purchased: Used
Price Paid: US$10800
Pros:
Power, versatility, well built.
Cons: Position of PTO levers, Lame headlights
