Posted 08/18/200430 hours to date with no problems. I purchased the tractor based on sitting on other manufacturer's tractors and evaluating the feel and features. I purchased the tractor with the following: R30 rears/24 fronts - radials, loaded rear tires, 32LC loader with quick attach plate, 78" HD material bucket, 12x12 mechanical shuttle, no cab, ROPS, 2 sets of rear remote valves.
This is my first tractor. Previous experience was with my Father's Kubota tractors. All were great machines. I went for NH though after sitting on one and drivng it. Very smooth feel with great power, love the sloping hood and loader. The operator station is very friendly and informative. The levers are color coded and the loader controls are perfectly located. I have used the tractor for backfilling gravel around foundations and brush-hogging. No issues....a real joy to operate. Not too big for manuevering. The tires have tenacious grip. I am even pleased with the exhaust loudness (acceptable DB - not too loud).
What I would like improved: Vertical exhaust is close to interfering with loader when raised to full height, pins on 3PT hitch are easily lost (lost them both).
Date Purchased: 7/2004
Purchased: New
Price Paid: US$29800
Pros: Ergonomics, smooth shift, smooth shuttle, great power delivery, up to date look, durable paint, easy to service (filters, grease zerks, etc)
Cons: Loader interference with vertical exhaust, pins on 3pt hitch easily lost
