John Deere Reviews / 2004 John Deere 4410 Tractor
Review by psrumors from Cartersville, Georgia
Posted 08/19/2004

For my purchase price I received the e-hydro, with the upgraded cruise and speed match, 430 FEL, 1 set of rear wheel weights, R4 tires and telescoping draft links.

My 4410 has 42 hours thus far. I have used it to bush hog, mow, and help clear about 1 acre of trees. I added a set of logger forks from Paynes Forks (http://www.paynesforks.com which work awesome) to help with the tree clearing. It tackled these tasks beautifully.

The tractor uses no fuel, in the 42 hours I have used less than 35 gallons of diesel. It will climb grades steeper than I am comfortable with and never break a sweat.

I have worked the tractor harder in it's first 50 hours than I will probably ever work it and it didn't seem to mind.

The only negative I can state about this tractor is if your are going to do any heavy brush cutting get the skid plates for the under side. There are wires and filters very vulnerable which is a mistake on Deere's part. I have had to replace 2 solenoids and a wiring harness due to the lack of protection.

I have 5 acres of hills, pasture and woods. This tractor has been perfect so far. I have not wished for mower power or a heavier tractor. I think it is the perfect Gentleman's farm tractor.
