John Deere Reviews / 2004 John Deere JD 2210 Tractor
Review by MrGraffix from Marshalltown, Iowa
Posted 09/18/2004

I was in the market for a tractor that would spend most it's life mowing 6 acres of hilly terrain with the ability to perform small FEL and landscaping tasks. I got all that and WAY more. This tractor puts a grin on my face every time I use it. I keep finding new uses for the FEL and have acquired a slew of 3-pt accessories already. After 65 hrs of moderate to serious use not one complaint, albeit rapid tire wear with the r4's I opted for. Loader hyd. somewhat sluggish and slow but manageable. Nature of sub-compact more than design flaw. Do wish deck lift was independent of 3-pt but deck comes off in <minute when needed. Tilt & cruise would be convienient. More lighting/alternator output as well as tool/storage box would make major improvements IMO. Very pleased with purchase to date.

Date Purchased: 6/2004
Purchased: New
Price Paid: US$12000
Pros:
Very capable sub-compact. Will handle all it's asked and surprise you when it's pushed.
Cons: No tool/storage box, no draftlink, mmm lift arms & 3-pt move together
