Posted 05/25/2005After 2 years of debating whether or not to purchase a compact tractor, I finally purchased a Kubota B7510 Turf Special. I will not bore you with the incredible difficulty I had trying to decide which tractor. The tractor has a very nice fit and finish. I did notice that some of the items on the Kubota compared to the Kioti seem a little cheap (handles on fenders), but I am not hard on equipment, so it should last me quite a while. My first mowing with the tractor was a good test. I had sold my previous garden tractor and hadn't mowed in about two weeks. My grass is incredibly lush (thanks to TruGreen lawn service). When I mowed grass when it was heavy like this with my previous GT, it had a tendency to miss some, even mowing at a very slow speed. The Kubota did an admirable job with this heavy grass. No spots were missed and the tractor did this almost effortlessly....also, it usually takes a tank of fuel to mow my 4 acres with the GT, the Kubota still had 3/4 of a tank left. The tractor turns nicely, not as sharp as I like, but it is a lot more tractor than what I used to have, and my expectations on turning radius was actually surpassed. I am still getting used to the ROPS grabbing tree branches on occasion. I am incredibly pleased with this tractor.....36 months of interest free money made the decision very easy! I am planning on getting the LA302 FEL and a small middle-buster plow for digging some small drainage ditches. This is a lot of tractor for the money. I am very pleased with my purchase.
