John Deere Reviews / 2003 John Deere 4110 Tractor
Review by Tombo from Casco, Maryland
Posted 08/14/2005

I bought this tractor with 30 hours on it in February. I saved about $3500 over the cost of a new one. The dealer performed the 50 hour service, plus handed me a box with evrything I would need for the 200 hour service.

The JD 4110 4WD is 20 HP gross and about 17 with the HST option, which I chose. There are two speed ranges and both mid and rear PTO. I purchased a block heater, but the tractor starts fine without it even on the coldest days.

This tractor is very fuel efficient and simple to operate. It feels very safe on slopes, is nimble and responsive.

The only quirk I had was the hydraulic hoses rubbing on the front tire. It was simple enough to fix by just adjusting the way it hung down.

I like this tractor very much and would reccomend it to anyone in the market for a 20 HP machine.
