After 12 yrs still the problem with the parking pawl. Had to split the tractor again to replace a gasket that had been changed when new by the local dealer. Recall update. Last time I had them work on it I had to take it back 3 times to get all the nuts and screws put back in. I do the work myself now. Last time I ordered a part, after explaining in detail, they got it wrong and it was a 16 dollar fix for me so I could stay on schedule. I know that there are some great dealers out there, I just wish JD would have some roving personel out there checking up on some of these people that represent them. I am seriously considering starting a compact tractor-mower repair outfit that comes to the owner. Parking it at the shop for me will not happen again.
