Kubota Reviews / 2005 Kubota L3430HSTC Tractor
Review by justgotlky04 from Cross Plains, Tennessee
Posted 04/08/2006

I got this tractor to do mostly mowing, bushhog and landscape work. I had a Yanmar 2610d (30HP 4X4) that the 3430 replaced. I have 124 hours on the Kubota with zero problems. I finish mow about 9 acres with it every week in the growing season. I got the cab mostly for the ability to mow and not get allergies. I'm very allergic to grass and weeds. I can mow or bush-hog and never even smell the fresh cut grass, thus my allergies are a thing of the past. The things I love the most about this tractor: The A/C in the cab is super cool in fact you will find yourself turning the vents away from you to keep from getting to cold. I can mow on a 100 deg day with the cab at a cool 72 deg inside. The same is true for winter also. The heater will run you out of there if you run it on high. I also like the dash and overall ride quality. I added a set of rear work lights and they are worth every penny. I can mow at night and the work lights provide plenty of light. I also like the R4 tires and the hst trans. I will never go back to a gear type tranny. Overall I'm very happy with the tractor and the way it's performed. The 3 pt hyd system is very nice and strong, moreover I have a 3 pt woods backhoe and it worked very well with this tractor. I did however install the heavy duty top link bracket. The only thing I would change on this tractor is the fuel tank size. I think it needs a 15 gallon tank instead of the 10 gallon one it has for the simple fact that the tank will go empty in about 8 hours and some days I need it to go 12 hours.

Reccomendations:

*Get the rear work lights.
*Install a non kubota cd player and save a few c-notes.
*Get a heavy duty top link bracket for any heavy duty work you may do.
*Love my Sitrex 6ft finish RFM and the new gatorblades! If you like a clean cut the gatorblades are hard to beat.
