First off I want to thank Tommy Boyd at Cut and Farm Center of Athens Alabama for helping me get my little tractor.

My purchase was 4/2006.

I've put 8 hours on it so far......

I'm please on how it runs. The BH was a breeze to get off. I had to go to the Massey Ferguson Web site to grab the instructiuons on how to take it off since it is not in the manual.

I did a pre-work check out and had to tighten about 25 bolts on the FEL and BH, but other than that everything looked good.

I did notice the Hyd filter location so make a note of it when going over debris, stumps etc.

I took off the mid-mower swing arms so they don't just flop around.

Also I was stumped on making the 3 point hitch move. Nothing is mentioned that you have to plug in 2 of the hoses that would normally be attached to the back hoe. I even went as far as to post on the forum. I noticed 2 of the hoses did not have a plug and one was a male and one female and wa-la it worked.

I hooked up my MF bush-hog 48" and went a cutting. The MF 1004 manual says it weighs 507 pounds. With the FEL on I have no problems with a lite front end.

The Hydrostatic transmission works well. If you have ever been on a John Deer I would prefer that pedal layout where the forward and reverse are side by side but the MF system works ok.

The parking break handle is alittle short and you have to reach over and mash the break pretty hard to get it to catch.

I love the size of the steering wheel! Big! Works great.

The reason I picked the MF is in part due to other peoples reviews, price... I wanted to stay under 20K and parts support. My dealer is about 25 miles away.

For my 6 acres and what I will do this is plenty of tractor. I would highly recommend the MF GC2310TLB.

I bought a Box Blade, MF Brush Cutter Model 1004 to compliment the standard features of a FEL and BH.
