Posted 11/10/2006After a year of ownership and 65 hours of use to date, I would do it all over again. I now have the kubota grass catcher and it picks up clippings and leaves real well. I would prefer larger capacity bags, however it's not too bad. The worst part of the catcher is that it is a pain to install. Takes about 15 minutes. That is much better than the JD 322 I had with the hydraulically dumping grass catcher. That did collect better, however it took about 2 hours to install and about 1 hour to take off and it weighed about 250 #s. So I don't argue about installing this one. In fact, when I bought this tractor, I had wanted a jd2210 but they did not have a grass catcher for it so I bought the Kubota. Too bad for JD, because they are no longer in my consideration list when it is time for a new tractor.
I have done and moved dirt and debris much better than I thought it would. Once you put it in 4x4, it just digs down and moves whatever you ask it to. I now have a rear meteor snowblower 51" and am waiting for some snow. Will again post to let everyone know how well it does that.
cost 12450 new with 60mmm and bucket.
