Kubota Reviews / 1998 Kubota L35 TLB
Review by Archive from n/a, New York

Model: L35
Author: Matt Olwind
Date: 11/29/98

I traded in my old New Holland on a new L35 TLB six months ago. I being in the construction business need a tractor powerful and durable more than anything. Certain features like the flat deck and rubber pedals are nice, but the impressive part of the L35 is the power and ruggedness. For a 35-horse machine, the loader and backhoe abilities are truly amazing. The best part comes when you take the backhoe off and you have a very strong 3-point hitch for a variety of applications.

I have had my machine six months and I only can think of two thing that bother me. One being the front R4 tires. The tread isn’t very deep, and I already had to replace them after just six months. The other is the swiveling seat that faces both front and back. The swiveling seats on larger TLB’s are great, but on the L35 there isn’t the room around the seat needed to swivel while sitting. I have to get up, go around, and swivel it by hand while stretching in an uncomfortable position. But those are just minor complaints, and the L35 is my favorite.
