Posted 02/12/2002After looking for many months at prices, new versus used as well as considering the size of my property (6.5 acres) I decided to purchase a new Kubota B2410 HSD with LA352FL FEL,Land Pride 1548 box blade,HD toplink bracket, and 48" toothbar. I do think it was the perfect choice. First of all I was very surprised of the power in low and high gear in 4 wheel drive. In two weeks I have done everything that I have needed do with great ease and confidence. The B2410 seems to be a well built piece of machinery. Combine the power for its size , power steering and the fel with a toothbar and you have a great tractor for a small property owner. The fel only has a breakout force of 1300lbs but after a few hours of learning how to use the toothbar on the fel I have had no problem moving earth or removing small trees and moving them.By leaving the Land Pride box blade attached while using the fel it creates an almost perfect balance which leaves all 4 wheels on the ground for better efficincey. This tractor is very easy to use all of the controls are easy to use and in the right place. I have learned to be careful not to hit the PTO controls by mistake they are very cloes to your left side.
All and all i would say it was the perfect choice.
