I power wash what little grass crud is sticking then apply that graphite stuff right back over the old stuff. VERY LITTLE of that graphite paint comes off, even with high pressure.
BTW, I never did take the underside of the deck down to bare metal. Gray on Orange and it still sticks! Make sure to paint the blades so the crud doesn't stick to them.
