Well, from reading your replies, ya don't like my 30 minute rake, thats how long it took me to make it. And picture how strong a tool like this would have to be to dig in beach sand. We live in Florida and its nothing but a big sandbar with houses on it. Digging here is a whizz, we have these little sand spur things that have sharp thorns all around them and they are smaller than a pea and they stick to everything. It works great on them. And its 5/8 HSS re-bar not 1" and they only hang down about 6 inches. So far so good. And with my other 10 foot extension it would make a good pond rake, J_J mentioned that when he stopped by.
