Definitely try out the FEL (and everything else!) while you are there. Have some fun with it! In the end, only you can decide if the FEL works fast enough for your taste and needs!
Be sure to pay attention to the RPMs while doing do. Don't expect top speed at idle. Kick it up a bit with the foot throttle as you would likely do in "real world" situations.
