Default Re: No Massey dealers in my area.

If it was my tractor, I'd be looking for the next closest dealer of MF, or ANY other dealer which I could get parts and service through. Just because he's got a green or orange or blue sign on the dealership doesn't mean he can't get red parts. Dealer's around here will work on anything and can get parts for pretty much anything.

If Chapman Tractor in Waynesboro, MS, my local dealer, closes the doors tomorrow, I'm not going to sell my tractor. I'm going to find someone else to do business with. I already have a local independent guy that said he could get parts for anything, and my local NAPA guy has been known to pull some stuff out of his hat also.

I wouldn't get mad or ill at MF and sell my tractor. Did MF close those dealerships? Probably the individual owner did, but I could be wrong.

You seemed to be set on getting rid of your tractor, so I was wishing you the best. Is your tractor in good working order, well maintained, adequate for the tasks you need performed? Or is it a rundown POS? Or are you just PO'd and want to vent?

If you want to vent, get after it, I'll listen. If you really want a new tractor, get after it, I'll spread the word in Southeast MS, but I can't promise anything. But I don't see where MF is the problem unless AGCO closed those dealers or stopped supplying them with equipment and parts.

Would you sell your dog if your vet closed?
