I used to like the smell of fresh brewed coffee too, but didn't like to drink it.
I found, after decades of not liking coffee, it was more the coffee I had tried. Whatever my Mom and Grandma did to that poor Folgers, it was aweful. They used to make it in a 26 cup commercial percolater. It was like 26cups of espresso(8oz cups, not the foofy 2oz cups...)
I found that I like coffee, although it is a somewhat acquired taste. After starting with Mocha espresso drinks, I started drinking regular coffee. I like a dark roast. I also found, with the Espresso machine at home, I like to make Espresso and Mocha with various beans besides Espresso roast...

We have a coffee maker and all the goods on hand just in case my mother-in-law comes over. As long as there's a coffee cup pressed to her lips, she's not saying anything. Have all the coffee you like MOM. |
