We felt the home "fits" nicely in the area.
That bottom part is really the "crawl space" but is a lot taller than most. We will stain and seal the sheathing as it is. Then add a decorative walkway around with some shrubs etc. That's why I asked about that 1 yard concrete trailer in your hot tub thread.
Maybe I should look into the log type covering that the garage will have? Wonder how much that would cost? Do you think that would add to the looks?

It is our dream retirement home. We hope by this time next year we'll be relaxing on those porches.

Thanks and I'm glad you are enjoying the pictures too. Each time up we take snapshots but always have way too many to post. I guess we're pretty excited about it.
LOL ... Now you're beginning to sound like Tom (tommu) about the webcam. He's been bugging me about it for 6 months now. Hahaha no way am I going to put cameras in there. I'll be lucky to have an Internet connection out there.
