You are right on about Dexter as I do believe that they are still made in the good old USA. The new brakes that were installed on the trailer happened to be Dexter. I had a boat trailer that had Dexter EZ lube axles which if you guys are not familiar with them, they have a zerk fitting on the end of the axle and the axle is hollow. When you pump the grease in it flows down the inside of the axle and exits between the seal and the inner bearing and back out through the outer bearing. I never had a problem with this trailer. I already have a had a tractorbynet member email me to find out the make of the trailer. Have a good one.
