I have a 790 w/ 70 loader and 7 backhoe. It's a great combination, well balanced and ideally suited to MY needs. Not sure, from your description, how close your work is to mine though. The biggest drawbacks to the 790 are it's relatively light weight and low loader and tph lift capacities. Again, never been a problem for me. When you say stump removal for example, how big and how many do you expect to take out in a day/week?
