Hi Chuck in NH...Bet it's a little cooler where you are?
I appreciate all the help everyone has giving me. It sucks when you know you can not jump in your truck, go down to the dealers and kick the tires...That day will come..I have already emailed a Kubota dealer 30 minutes from my home so we shall see how the service starts from the get go.....Make me wait to long for a responce, and I tend to remember that type of service..

After all the info, spec readings, comparison sheets, etc. I really am leaning towards the Kubota. I am not worried about the money, just for the fact I believe you get what you pay for. I believe everyone on this board has come to that cocnlusion at least once in their life....a few times too many when it comes to me.

I am buying a tractor thats going to give me 25 years of service just like my old JD did..It's just time to take advantage of newer technology...The 790 I feel would be just like my 950..Funny part about that though,is that my dad bought it new for under 6000 grand in the early 80's and I think the resale on it will be very good...That says a lot about JD and quality products from Kubota. Great machines hold their value.

Sorry to ramble on..This is my relax time of the evening....Baghdad is not so bad..LOL...I am sure a few of you guys have gone through mortar barrages before...You know..Pucker factor..it is getting old though.

Now I am just waiting to hear from the Kubota dealer in Covington La.

Best to all

Chuck
