Default Re: Kioti should make

I have 38 acres aprrox. 29 of which is presently row crop fields that I want to convert to pasture and run some cattle. The other 9 acres or so have not been touched in a long time. I want to clean those acres up for use as well. Add a long driveway to maintain, a bunch of fencing and the small moto track I want to build to my intended usage.

So to my mind that means lots of spraying, brushhogging, aerating, loader work etc. Central Texas summers are really hot and the winters while not freezing can definitely be cold enough that you would not be outside in the breeze for hours at a time if you had a choice.

I will likely end up with an open station tractor as $25-27,000 is a stretch upper dollar limit for tractor/loader and I think I need 40-45HP for what I want to do.

The Kioti DK45S seems to be the closest to my "ideal" with the cab, 45hp 4wd etc. It just does not have the HST. Having never driven a shuttle shift I am not sure thats a deal breaker or not.

For my quicky applications, it seems it would be in the way. And, I like the outdoors.

Sooooo, other than the dust factor when brush hogging, (which I understand) or the cold up north, why have a cab? Just curious..
