The Woods 70X is built very close to the John Deere 447. The main reason I chose Woods is that they designed a mounting kit specificly for the 3203, wich Deere does not offer the 447 for the 3203. As far as a comparison of specs the Woods has 270lbs more bucket digging force,@(2030lbs of psi) and roughly the same dipper force as the 447. Digging depth is about the same for both models. Yes the BH70-X is a solid, permanent mount, but like the 447 it can be removed to use the 3 point hitch when desired.
I got a chance to use the hoe for the first time today and I am pleased with the performance. The hoe taps into the tractors hydraulic system and it has good power and impressive speed. I have the 9''&18'' buckets and it handles the 18'' very well. In the pics I posted is a shot of the sub frame and shows the conection to the sub frame and the hoe.
