Default Re: I SAT ON A BRAND NEW M59 TODAY !

In a previous post I had made note of the frame design of the M59 and how I too identified the potential serious problems breaking the pin mount for the 3pt. hitch arms. Why the heck would they attach it to a cast axel-rear end peice and not the frame???? I break pins in that spot with my L48s all the time, luckily just the pin. I would not want to imagine the M59 breaking the cast rear end peice attaching the arms. For one thing, it would shut the machine down asap with serious loss of fluid. But hey, since Kubota is making the M59 with OPTIONAL 3pt, maybe they aren't expecting many repairs!!!! Nice machine, the one I sat on had turf tires, kinda weird. I did like the loader beefyness, did NOT like the thin metal hood, did not like the new frame design (anyone look under it and see the big peices of metal which attaches to the rear axel blocking all maintenece access?), liked the hoe,....and laughed at the optional hood protector!!!! Ah hahahahaha....they must have said "we built a monster with a sissy hood, quick, do something!!!". I look forward to driving one soon.
