The pins are cheap, the links that come after market are cheap too as the original OEM Kubuta turn buckle is expensive. I have not seen the L39 attach point, hopefully as strong as the L48. My 2nd brand new 2008 L48 with 12 hours is tight and sweet, couldn't be happier. My friend just bought a L5740 with Woods BX80(?) and expects the same as L48. I didn't have the heart to tell him. 2 different classes, yet similiar prices and why people are not sold more TLBs I do not know. Get the L48s while you can as they are excellent value for the $.

I use my tractors for construction grading primarily. (House pads, roads, Etc)When I broke my one and only three point hitch pin on my old L39 I was going backwards making a cut with my box blade. I hit a stump on the right side corner of my box blade that was not visable. It bent the right side lower link arm like a pretzel and broke off the casting that holds the pin to the rear axle housing. I was just sick when I saw how much damage I had done. Once was enough!! Never again!
The three point lower attachment points on the L39 are the same as the M59. That's why I was so disapointed when I saw it. I would have thought Kubota would have used a HD planatary rear axle and three point mounting plate like is on the L48. My M7040 is set up like the L48.
I firmly believe the L48 will go down in Kubota history as one of the BEST tractors Kubota has and ever will make. Someone once said, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." I hope the M59 will not have problems and will be as good as the L48. On the surface it looks to be a good tractor. Only time will tell.
