Hello Sharpshooter, for your uses described a ck30 would be the minimum. A ck25hst is really underpowerd to run a 5 ft rotary mower. For dragging logs you could get by with a ck25 gear. If you like the hst, id recomend the ck30 or even the ck35.. Good luck
