Spacers on the front of the machine do no real good, especially if your front axle pivots (most if not all CUT's?). You only need them on the rear for stability. If you're using them to set spacing for crops then you might want them for the front. I don't know if any CUT's that are set up for that kind of work though. Granted, I don't know very much about tractors in general so I could be wrong about that last statement.
