A question that might be worthy of an outside post - looked, sure its been answered before, but couldn't find it.

How long is it wise to keep diesel? A 55 gallon tank would be almost 9 months use for me at current levels. I'd never keep gas that long.

I know diesel can eventually grow algae or such, and I'd have no problem adding additives to it.

Any opinions?
