I've a 53" FEL on my 4010. It's almost identical weight to the 2305 and less hp. I've hauled tons of gravel, mulch and dirt in it. Best ballast on the
3ph is my carryall with sides on it and filled 1/2 to 3/4 with about the same material as I'll be putting into the FEL. Otherwise, my 400# brush hog works pretty well as ballast but presents a lot of extension out the back to watch out for.
DO NOT use high range with the FEL. Go slow with it filled. Helps when filling it, too. The curl, etc. actions with the loader are subtle ones. You don't want a lot of forward speed while doing them.
