I would replace the oil pressure sending unit with a mechanical gauge to check oil pressure;should be (14lb/sq.in. at idle) (42-64 lb/sq.in.)at engine rated speed. It is probably a gauge/sender malfunction, but you do not want to operate it until you're sure
