I tend to agree with the " If they burned you once" concept. I would also consider how the persons attitude was when they returned the equipment damaged and when they agian asked for it. (Makes a huge differance to me.)

I will not be forced to loan "jack trip" if I don't want to for any reason, I will consider all circumstances, but not extorsion.

At some point they have to learn, for every action there is a reaction. Of course that goes both way's.

I have "step" children and it is a political nightmare sometimes, bottom line you just have to love them any way you can, everyones faults considered. Sometimes "no" is better for the greater good, sometimes "yes" is the way to go. Go with your instincts and feelings.
