This is one of those interesting ones Bird. My dad use to grip at me when I broke the lawnmower. Well I was the only one that ever used it so it would eventually break on me. In the case of your tranny, it might have broken on you in the next mile you drove it, but it broke on her. IMO that's just one of those things that happen and I personally would not accept money from anyone. ALso like when I was on Eddies dozer last fall moving some dirt, if the engine threw a rod I don't think he would ask for my checkbook.

Things just happen and it was probably going to happen sooner or later.
