I don't mind helping out family and friends. I didn't even expect her to pay for the damage, what I did expect was an apology and to own up to what she did. If this would have happened I might be more likely to loan it out again. I also thought she might show some gratitude when I offered to rent a uhaul last time. I will say her mother backed me last time but since we don't get to see the grandkids as much she is less supportive of my decision.
