Since the arms are identical in length and cross-section, they will each
bend the same amt if you support them the same way. The amt of bend
is so small that it is not readily apparent just looking at the arms. Also,
if one arm bent a bit more than the other, it would not be a big problem.
If one DOES bend a bit more than the other, then you can re-position the
chain (fulcrum) so that more torque it placed on the less-bent arm. Note
that there is a certain amt of springy-ness in the arms so they will need
to be over-bent a bit so they return to a desirable shape.
