Default Re: Gear oil change on Brush Hog necessary?

Change the oil, I bought a used IM500 brush cutter wraped a chain around the side opposite side from the fill & check plugs lifted it with my loader and let it drain. Refilled it with synthetic 80w90. Cheap insurance for a couple bucks and 1/2 hour of work.
I'm A 4wd tech by trade most transfer case and rear end failures I see are a combination of high milage and no maintenance (never changing or checking fluid levels). Oil does break down and get contaminated. So CHANGE THE OIL!
