I think what happened was I had the BB angled way too much. I got the right pin on the BB into the QH. I then had to remove the adapter and extend the top link all the way out to get it to fit back to the BB. The left pin was still approx. 3 inches above the J-hook on the QH. So I lifted the BB hoping to get the pin in the J-hook. I guess that was too much stress on the top link and I bent the one end.
