We don't have burn barels either. Myson-in-law was warnd bythe fire dept. He could have gotten a 2000.00 fine. The fad here now is to buy the fire pit ,is 24 inches around or less,it is regulated by the state of NH. I had to get a controlled or cooking fire permit,suppose ot call when I want to use it. I have five acres so have the room. My friend got one,he lives in city, setback is 25 feetfrom any structure to the pit. His fire dept. wants to inspect his pit first. I don't have anything against barrels,but the barrell if it rusts out or falls apart can be dangerous. plowking |
