Home heating kerosene is up by about 40% over here. If things dont change soon, old folks are going to be exposed to a very bleak, cold and potentially deadly winter. I heard on the radio this morning that they are expecting an increase in elderly deaths as a result of the increased cost of home heating.... That makes me sick. I dont want this to turn into another "price of oil rant" but.... the suits in wall street and in London are making billions in profits with their money games, and as a consequence, many vulnerable people will inevitably suffer as a result of these speculation wars....
If you have an elderly neighbour, keep them in mind this coming winter.
My recent price enquiry with my usual kerosene supplier, for 1000 litres of home heating kerosene.... @ €1.04 a litre = €1040 (or $1604usd)
how in the **** is an old person with limited means supposed to cover that (even with state assistance)??
