I'm not sure what the teeth on mine are made of, but they are the weld on type, and I know that welding cast iron is beyond my skills. They didn't cost very much either, so I can't imagine how it would be cost effective to try and build them up with welding rod. To me, that would take allot of time and a huge number of welding rods.
Have you priced replacement teeth?
