In the case of the relay, there are 5 other identical relays in the same group on an HST tractor. What I would do is to swap a couple of relays and see if the problem went away. I would not have to buy a new relay to eliminate it as the possible problem.
I think there is a good chance that nothing is wrong with bluecrop's tractor except the adjustment of the brake pedal switch or the magnet out of adjustment. I doubt the fender switch is the problem because mine has been exposed to the weather for 7 years and has never failed.
You are absolutely right that we are both speculating about this. What I don't want is for anyone to spend money on any part because of something I have said when I'm "playing" a guessing game.  | Exactly! |
