I need to get rid of the one on my lawn tractor that won't let you back up and mow, but I would keep the seat one just because someday I will have my kids mowing the lawn and I want it to stop if they get off.
On the JD 2320 the safety equipment doesn't seem really to intrusive. I can operate the
FEL from the ground and run the
PTO when I am not on the seat. Putting it in neutral and locking the brake to get off is reasonable to me.
Realistically the biggest piece of safety equipment is your brain.
If we could only take all of the energy that people use to make lawyers happy and apply it elsewhere, the world would be a better place. Though I am willing to skip the middle man and just burn lawyers for energy.
