My grandpa had one of those screw log splitters hooked directly to the
PTO on an H farmall.there where two bars that came off the tractor you would set the wood on to keep it from spinning.
All i remember from that right is it would take the wood fast and pop the two pieces would fly apart. thing scared the crap out of me. there was a string going from the H's kill switch to grandpa's hand just in case the screw got him he could try to kill hte tractor quick but honestly that screw took those peices of wood pretty fast human guts wouldn't last long.
