Well tractorjackleg, here at
TBN we have public profiles, and I'm guessing that you have not read mine or many of my posts. If you had I would think that you might not have made that comment. You would have seen that I have Case Tractors, A Cat D6 along with others.
You see, it doesn't matter what brand I own, we do all the work on them ourselves. The dealers that I do trust to do any type of repair work are just to far away, and besides that, I have always repaired my own stuff. Wait, once I made the huge mistake of having a dealer replace an engine for me because we were to busy to get to it. Guess what, 10k later I still had an engine that was no good and we ended up replacing everything ourselves anyway.
I'm sure that your 231 is a nice tractor, and I hope that you have good luck with it, but what good does your type of comment do other than to try to make yourself feel better about something, I don't know what, but it must have been something.
