I always thought the Kubota had a design flaw leaving that fan so exposed. It is almost like they do it on purpose it is so obvious that it is susceptable to getting branches stuck up there. But, when I voiced this a year ago, people thought I was crazy...anyway, went ahead and purchases a Bro-Tek skid plate. Best investment I ever made. I would be paranoid working in any brush without one...
