OK - if you were from KC, I was going to suggest you try Straub in Wichita. OTOH, if you want an eye opener, check the prices at Blue Valley in KC. In November BV quoted me a higher price on a 3316 than I gave Straub for my 3510 - and Straub's hauled it from Larned to Wichita to give it a bath and a quick checking out, then up to Topeka for free.
I also went back and checked my saved mail - the price quoted you is pretty close to what I was quoted in Nov for a 2815 gear, and there was a price increase after I picked my machine up, so I'm pretty sure he's giving you a pretty solid bid. HST will likely run about $1500 higher.
My other advice still stands - check with Bill to see if they have a demo model at one of their other dealerships that he could cut you a deal on.
