Hey Dargo,
That's exactly what I've done for the last 5 years.
Except I bought HF tools to keep at camp to do stuff while living elsewhere. Now I have move up to my property and still have all the tools, so I have duplicates of many. I can keep a tool box in the house 2 places like kitchen and basement, the garage, and of course in the barn.
Sure makes little repairs easy.
