Did you put Mobil 1 in the Massey? I am wondering what oil to use for my first oil change on my GC2410. Everything else I own runs Mobil 1 and I see no reason to put anything different in the Massey. There are a couple of Mobil 1 oils that I am considering first the 0w-40 european spec oil as used in the VW and Mercedes diesel cars or the 5w-40 Turbo diesel oil. The Turbo diesel oil has a little more zinc and phosphorus. The wife's Mercedes diesel requires a "Fleece" filter to run the 13,000 miles between oil changes and the Mobil 1 0w-40 oil. I wonder if there is a fleece type of oil filter element that we could use on the Massey. I think I have about 16 hours on my tractor so I still have sometime to think about the service but I might do the first oil change at 25 hours and repeat it again at 50 along with the other services.

I am wondering what the rest of the Massey GC owners think about using Mobil 1 in their tractors.
