Re: broken 1528 Remove the part and take a very good picture of the fracture.
Take 100 pictures if necessary to get the one real good one that shows the initial defect.
Set down and write a nice and polite letter to Agco asking only for the replacement part. Include a statement from your local service manager in support.
Tell them that you don't want to rip them off, you like their product, but heres the evidence of an unfortunate flaw.
I can't believe that they won't supply a replacement part in the face of an obvious MFG defect.
I don't care if the warrenty is a year past; if you ask in the right manner and present the proper evidence, they will help you.
If not, well..... green or blue is a very good color to look at next time.
Give Agco a chance to show their true color!
